Online Fitness Challenges

Here are some online challenges to Get your FIT IN! It doesn't matter whether you travel this month or stay home, these challenges can be done wherever you are! Why not grab a group of friends and make your own facebook group and challenge one another?
30 Day Fitness Challenges
"A 30 day fitness challenge is a great way to stay in shape, tone up your body, learn new exercise techniques and do something new and exciting each and every month." You can pick an area to work on such as your core or arms or take up the Little Black Dress challenge. You can do anything for just 30 days, right? Join in on their facebook page for more support.

30 Day Burpee Challenge
Spartan Race founder Joe De Sena made the world a simple challenge: do 30 burpees for 30 days. The only rule is that if you submit to the challenge, you must commit to the challenge. Will you take the challenge? No matter the date, start today!

2013 Runner's World Holiday Running Streak
Stay fit and motivated during the busy (and calorie-filled) holiday season by pledging to run at least one mile every day, Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day. Yes it has already started, butLearn more about the streak here: http://bit.ly/1az2MO9 and chat with other streakers on Twitter using the hashtag #RWRunStreak here: http://bit.ly/1dbtap7

Voyage to Venus
Have you ever wanted to run in space? Now is your chance.  Moon Joggers is looking for 25,000 runners (walkers and joggers too) to join our challenge this year and help us run enough miles to get to Venus! We will donate a portion of each registration to our favorite charity: Little Heroes Foundation.  Our goal is $50,000!

30Day Challenge Series
Looking to build healthier habits and a happier life? This page is for you! Different challenges each month focus on improving fitness, diet and mindset. Take on one or all of them -- all in the name of improving your lifestyle.

100 days - "The 100 Days Challenge is a free motivational program to help you start your year of activity. It is all about inspiring intentional movement and a healthy, active, happy lifestyle." It is 30minutes of intentional moving for 100days. Check out their webpage or facebook page for more information. It was started by John 'Penguin' Bingham who I was fortunate enough hear speak one time. He calls himself an 'accidental athlete' and slower than mediocre runner, but he runs. He is a great motivator!

Do you know of others? E-mail them to fitinlou@gmail.com and I will update.
